Summer Shindig debrief!

A hugely successful all day charity gaming event on Saturday 9th June.

Almost a full house, lots of different games from doors opening to doors closing. Refreshments and snacks available kept gamers going for the day.

Once the dust had settled and donations counted, we raised a fantastic £343.28 for Macmillan Cancer Support. Brilliant effort from everyone that attended and donated on the day.

Our next all day event for charity is in November, keep an eye out for that!

We’ll leave you with some pictures of the day.

A Flames of War mid-war game between Germans and British in the desert
Our motley crew of Pathfinder RPG players
An entire Corellia campaign for Star Wars Armada was played
We were happy to host a group of 9th Age players
A cycle of Necromunda was carried out, with 3 tables set up
A close-up of some rank and flank action with 9th Age.
A close-up of an Armada battle
A large game of Warhammer 40k played across a ruined city.

The 2nd of December 2017 sees the sixth Spencer Warner memorial game day at G3.

We have the main hall booked all day for the usual amount of tabletop shenanigans and continue our fundraising efforts for MacMillan Cancer Support.

Perhaps you have a larger game you want to spend a full day poring and plotting over, or want to run an organised play session of your favourite game system – the day is yours!

We’ll do our best to have some Barr’s Cola on site for anyone wishing to partake of the finest fizz.

Tables are available for booking, but we do ask if you book to confirm table size and expected numbers to allow for table arrangement in the hall.

Should you wish to book a table, please contact Mark Nisbet on a club night or electronic means.

Look forward to seeing you on the 2nd of December.
